The police in Narora, Bulandshahr district, apprehended a mother and her lover on Saturday, accused of murdering her three-year-old daughter. This information was confirmed by a police official.
According to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Dr. Tejveer Singh, on October 1, a woman named Seema, also known as Lali, filed a complaint with the Narora police, alleging that a woman named Lalteesh and others had kidnapped her daughter, Divyanshi, on September 30 with the intent to kill her.
Following this, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation. Singh stated that during the inquiry, Seema's claims were found to be false, revealing that she and her lover, Yatendra, also known as Pichchu, were responsible for the child's murder.
Both suspects were arrested on Saturday. During questioning, Seema disclosed that her husband had passed away, and she was currently living with Yatendra.
The police further revealed that Seema and Yatendra had ongoing disputes with Lalteesh and others from the town of Ahmadgarh. To frame them in a false case, they conspired to murder Divyanshi, suffocating her and disposing of her body in the Ganga canal at Narora. Subsequently, they filed a complaint against Lalteesh and others at the Narora police station.
